Google Summit Series by Deploy Learning: Canberra
In May, we headed over to Canberra for the one-day Google Summit at Belconnen High School!
It was incredible to see so many passionate ACT educators dedicate their Saturday to exploring the future of teaching and learning. From Suan Yeo’s inspiring keynote to 24 dynamic sessions delivered by Googlers, and educators from VIC, SA, and the ACT, the energy was palpable!
We dove into everything from the new Google Vids to the transformative power of AI, accessibility tools, effective rubric design, and best practices with Google Workspace.
Like all of our Google Summits this year, this Summit was made FREE for attendees thanks to the incredible generosity of the Google for Education team in Australia – a huge thank you to Bettina Fifer, Kimberley Hall, Alex Galland, and Simon Torok for delivering sessions and supporting delegates.
