The Deploy Learning Level 1 Course

The Google Certified Educator Level 1 exam focuses on meaningful and practical ways to integrate Copyright, Fair Use, Digital Citizenship, and PLN in your classroom instruction.

This course coaches you through the basics of the Chrome browser and search techniques in addition to core Google Workspace applications including Classroom, Drive, Docs, Slides, Spreadsheets, Forms, Calendar, Sites, Groups, Gmail, Meet, and YouTube.

This course is perfect for teachers who want a solid understanding of Google Workspace for Education while preparing to pass the Google Certified Educator Level 1 exams.

This course is expected to take 15 hours, spread over 3 weeks.

ACT teachers can receive 10 hours credit after completion of the course.

NESA recently updated their requirements for Accredited PD.  Integrating ICT into practice is an activity that has been identified as a Elective PD rather than Accredited PD.  This course qualifies for an an Elective PD course for your hours.

The course will be facilitated using Google Classroom. You  may need to join the course using a personal Gmail address.

You can engage in the units within the course whenever and from wherever best suits you! Be sure to complete the assignments by the due dates.

You’re in the right place.  We will be learning all about Google Classroom as part of this course! You will be sent an email with all the details about enrolling in the course in the week prior to it commencing.

Yes, our online cohort course is expertly facilitated by our team of Google Certified Trainers who will support you throughout the cohort.

Think positive! You’re not going to fail! But…if you do…you will have to retake this course to get another voucher or just purchase another exam on your own.  There is a 14 day waiting period before you can take it a second time.
