The Google Certified Educator Level 1 exam focuses on meaningful and practical ways to integrate Copyright, Fair Use, Digital Citizenship, and PLN in your classroom instruction.

This course coaches you through the basics of the Chrome browser and search techniques in addition to core Google Workspace applications including Classroom, Drive, Docs, Slides, Spreadsheets, Forms, Calendar, Sites, Groups, Gmail, Meet, and YouTube.

How many hours is this course?

This course is expected to take 10 hours but not meant to be done all at once.

I live in ACT, can I earn TQI Credit for this course?

We will be applying for TQI credit so that ACT teachers can receive 10 hours of credit after completion of the course but it has not yet been approved.

What happened to the NESA Credit that we could earn in the past?

Integrating ICT into practice is an activity that has been identified as an Elective PD rather than Accredited PD. This course qualifies for an Elective PD course for your hours.

How do I participate in the course?

What time of day do I have to do the coursework?

You can engage in the units within the course whenever and from wherever best suits you!

Will I get feedback during the course?

Our online course is no longer facilitated by a coach, but you can ask questions and seek feedback in our course community or by emailing us at courses@deploylearning.com.

What if I don’t pass the Level 1 Exam on my first attempt? Do I get another voucher?

Think positive! You’re not going to fail! But…if you do…you will have to retake this course to get another voucher or just purchase another exam on your own. There is a 3-day waiting period before you can take it a second time. We can work with you to make sure you pass on the next attempt.
