Yes, you can sign up to trial the editions. The trials last 60 days for 50 user licenses.

Teaching and Learning Upgrade – No, you can buy as many or as few as you want.

Education Standard and Education Plus – Yes, you must license every user on your domain. You will get one free teacher license for every four student lienses purchased.

Employee is defined as any individual that is full-time or part-time faculty and staff. Student workers and graduate assistants are excluded from this definition.

Students are defined as full time enrolled individuals. Both Education Plus and Standard are licensed as full-domain editions, so licenses must be purchased for all full time enrolled students. Additional licenses can optionally be purchased for part time students, alumni, or others.

Teaching and Learning Upgrade – No.

Education Standard and Education Plus – Yes, you must buy a minimum of 50 licenses (and you must also cover every student on your domain).
