Google Summit Series by Deploy Learning: Melbourne
In January, we capped off a series of events with the one-day Google Summit in Melbourne at the Catholic Leadership Centre. Big thanks to Google for Education for sponsoring the events over the last year. With their support, we have been able to offer these events to you for FREE!
The Summit was a huge success with over 100 educators from around Victoria attending to learn, connect and get inspired before the new school year started.
One workshop that is constantly being requested is about Generative Artificial Intelligence so we try to sprinkle different sessions on this topic throughout the day. Other sessions that we offered on the schedule included Google Classroom, finding success through feedback, learning different ways to assess students and empowering teachers and students with Google Workspace tools.

In order to keep these events free for you, we have to offer all of this in one day. The day requires you to choose sessions that fit your needs. Using inspiring keynotes to hands-on workshops, the event provided a platform for attendees to expand their knowledge and skill sets, network with other educators in the area, and gain valuable insights into the future of how to use technology to amplify lessons.
We are always looking for ways to improve and for ways to capitalise on what is working. Our Summit feedback gave us exactly that. This feedback provided us with valuable insight on what sessions worked and what else you could use to support your classroom. Like with all the summits we run, we are so glad to hear that educators still walked away with the inspiration they needed.
We are excited to take this feedback into another year of Google Summits sponsored by Google for Education! Soon we will start announcing dates for the 2025 Google Summits. We are even headed across the ditch and launching a Summit (or two!) in New Zealand!.
